If you bought
Adobe Photoshop and installed it with the local language instead of English and
need to change it to English, read on.
Even if English is not your native language, you might want Photoshop to be in English.
Luckily, there
is an relative easy fix for this, but it does require some basic computer knowledge, and you need to be able to see the file extension.
In Windows 8 you can choose to display file extensions from the Explorer ribbon (under View)
Foe earlier Windows versions you might follow this procedure.

So, here is
what I did:
Find the
file with the ending .dat in your Photoshop Support files folder, the path to
this file may vary slightly from one computer to another.
At my
computer (Norwegian, 64 bit system, Windows 8, with Photoshop CC) the file name is "tw10428.dat" and located at this path: "C:\Program
Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\Locales\nb_NO\Support Files"
Find and rename the .dat file in the Photoshop "Support Files" folder.
Right click
on the file, and choose "Rename" from the menu.
Rename the file extension to something else. To what is not important, just keep the file in case you need to change this back in the future. I chose to name it: "tw10428.backup"

If
Photoshop is open, close it and reopen it again.
Photoshop should now be in English.

SvarSlettThis is great, it worked like a charm! And I'm using macOS Sierra. Do you know how to do this in other Adobe CC apps, for instance Illustrator and Dreamweaver?
